Joseph Interior Design was established in November 2009 by Vanessa Doney. Founded in response to referrals from her previous employer which have now turned into loyal clients.
Since then we have worked on numerous projects of varying size, both commercial and residential in the Cotswolds, Greater London and the South West.
We work with the our clients to produce unique designs which complement their lifestyle, vision and budget. We provide a full design service, from concept and space planning through to final installation be it the redecoration of a single room or the refurbishment of an entire property.
The majority of our work to date has been through word-of-mouth recommendations and repeat business from satisfied clients.
The company was proud to receive a commendation by the Cheltenham Civic Society in 2012 for the refurbishment of the Cheltenham College library, theatre and green room.
Vanessa Doney - Vanessa has always had a passion for design, with a keen eye for colour and detail. She particularly enjoys the technical aspect of interior design and the challenges difficult spaces can provide. Vanessa loves to expand on her knowledge of products and is constantly inspired by photography, music, film and fashion. After graduating from Surrey Institute of Art and Design (now The University for the Creative Arts) with a degree in Interior Design, she spent four years working for an established Cheltenham based interior design company until the company relocated to Australia in the summer of 2009. This experience provided a great foundation to her career before launching Joseph Interior Design.
Jodie Manning - Jodie studied Graphic Design at University of Westminster and from there went on to work in Fashion retail as a Graphic Designer and Art Director. After a number of years working in London, she returned to Cheltenham, where she grew up, to retrain and follow her true calling of Interior Design. After completing a City and Guilds course, Jodie joined Joseph Interior Design in 2013. Jodie is influenced by travel, fashion and photography and loves how a room can be manipulated to achieve a more usable, attractive space.
